Software Project Manager

Canadian is seeking an experienced Senior Technical / Project Manager with 4+ years of experience to join our rapidly growing team.


  • Manage multiple web, mobile, and other technical projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead project teams, ensuring their success relevant to the timeline, budget, and scope while meeting business requirements and strategy, working closely with the client team leads.
  • Actively direct and manage the project life cycle from project kickoff through development, testing, delivery, and post-launch.
  • Guide the client with tact and intelligence through all phases of production, keeping them up to speed on essential milestones and decision points while also steering them away from common pitfalls and finding ways to deepen the client relationship over time.
  • Accountable for profitability across projects by tracking and managing project budget based on resource allocation and utilization while proactively assessing client needs and proposing solutions that fit their budget when appropriate.
  • Advise and oversee team resourcing and scheduling as related to project needs.
  • Where applicable, act as Scrum Lead during daily scrums, as well as schedule and lead all pertinent Agile ceremonies.
  • Conduct periodic project reviews with key client leadership teams to provide progress updates and plan key milestones, manage key decisions, and mitigate risks.
  • Foster and develop strong relationships between the members of our team for efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Understand the short-term and long-term goals of our clients and drive the team toward the execution of those goals.
  • Bridge communication and provide clear and concise status updates with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Drive day-to-day activities as well as having a bird’s eye view of the account while providing accurate updates and forecasts leveraging Atlassian tools (JIRA/Confluence).
  • Identify new projects & opportunities to grow client relationships.


  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Software Project Management.
  • Proven project management experience with MERN stack, LAMP stack, Native and hybrid mobile applications development.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or high recognition of Agile experience required.
  • Experience managing projects with internal and external client teams.
  • Strong experience with client/account management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented. Capable of self-managing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, requirements gathering, risk assessment and mitigation, and change management skills.
  • Ability to apply critical and strategic thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills as a team leader and team player with the ability to lead and motivate team members to maximize their potential to deliver great work.
  • Ability to take the initiative and make decisions to drive projects forward through execution.
  • Flexibility, initiative, dedication, and the ability to work independently, quick thinking, accuracy, and calm under pressure.
  • Experience communicating and collaborating with development teams using Atlassian tools (JIRA/Confluence).
  • Strong command of Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC), schedule management, and change management process.
  • MS Office Suite and G Suite/Google Apps proficiency required.
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Mavenlink) and business communication platforms (e.g., Slack, MS Teams).
  • Able to quickly learn, understand and apply new technologies.
