Task
The Phantom Disposal App was developed using an Agile methodology, ensuring continuous iteration and real-time client feedback throughout the process. The team focused on critical features such as driver job assignment, real-time GPS tracking, and dispatcher dashboards before progressively adding advanced capabilities. Given the continuous background tracking and sensitive driver/customer data, a security-first approach was maintained across the system. The application was architected for scalability, leveraging React Native for cross-platform mobile development, Redux Toolkit for state management, Socket.IO for real-time communication, and Firebase for push notifications. Location tracking and navigation were implemented using Google Maps APIs, with a newly integrated background location service ensuring uninterrupted updates. Cloud hosting and modular service design provided a foundation for seamless future enhancements, such as fleet optimization, analytics dashboards, and enterprise-level integrations.
